Brevo’s cheapest paid plan costs €7 a month.

Brevo pricing depends on your plan and your number of emails per month. Starter starts at €7, Standard at €15 and Professional at €499 a month, excluding VAT (checked October 2026).

The verdict: the starting price is rarely what you’ll pay. For a typical B2B list, the contact cap on each tier decides your bill, not how often you send.

Below you’ll find the plans, the limits and three worked examples.

How we checked: we read Brevo’s pricing page with euro and monthly billing selected, plus Brevo’s help center, on 21 October 2026. We didn’t test a paid account. We use a partner link for Brevo; it doesn’t change the numbers.

How much do Brevo’s plans cost in 2026?

Brevo has five plans: Free, Starter, Standard, Professional and Enterprise.

Here’s what the page showed on 21 October 2026, in euro, billed monthly:

PlanPrice per monthEmails includedContact capWho it’s for
Free€0300 a day100,000 storedTesting and very small lists
Starterfrom €75,000 a month500 (rises with your tier)One user, newsletters only

Professionalfrom €499150,000 a month2,000,000High-volume teams

Paying yearly gets you 10% off.

All amounts exclude taxes.

According to Brevo’s overview of its plans, VAT for your country is only added at checkout.

This is the pricing page as it looks with US settings:

Brevo pricing page in USD, billed monthly: Starter $9, Standard $18, Professional $499 and Enterprise at a custom price Brevo’s pricing page, US settings, billed monthly, 18 October 2026. In euro, the starting prices are €7, €15 and €499.

Watch the order of the features: marketing automation only appears on Standard.

Why do you sometimes see €350 and sometimes €499 for Professional?

Professional has two parts.

Brevo’s own price list shows a plan fee of €350, plus €149 for the first tier of 150,000 emails.

Together, that’s the €499 the pricing page displays.

So always compare the total, not the plan fee alone.

Does Brevo charge per contact or per email?

Brevo charges on email volume. You pick how many emails you’ll send a month, and that sets your tier.

But every tier also has a contact cap:

Emails per month (Starter and Standard)Maximum contacts
5,000500
10,0001,500
15,0002,500
20,000 and up500,000

Go over the cap on one of the first three tiers and Brevo automatically moves you up a tier. That’s in the same help article.

Rule of thumb: with more than 2,500 contacts, you start in the 20,000-email tier. Even if you send far less.

What does each extra volume tier cost?

Above the 5,000 included emails, you pay a surcharge per tier.

Here’s how that looked on 21 October 2026, in euro per month:

Emails per monthStarter surchargeStarter totalStandard surchargeStandard total
5,000€0€7€0€15
10,000€7€14€14€29
20,000€21€28€40€55
40,000€34€41€54€69
60,000 to 80,000€55€62€94€109
100,000€63€70€114€129

We added up the totals ourselves from the machine-readable version of Brevo’s pricing page (brevo.com/pricing.md).

On the pricing page, the calculator showed exactly €28 a month for Starter with 20,000 emails. So the sum checks out.

Starter stops at 100,000 emails a month. Standard goes up to 500,000.

Brevo plan calculator with Starter and 20,000 emails a month selected, showing the monthly price at the bottom Brevo’s plan calculator, English interface viewed from Belgium, October 2026. The price follows the email volume slider.

What does Brevo cost for a Belgian B2B team?

Here are three examples. We worked them out with Brevo’s published euro prices of 21 October 2026, billed monthly, excluding VAT.

They’re examples, not quotes.

Scenario 1: 3,000 contacts, two newsletters a month

Say a Flemish engineering firm with 3,000 contacts sends two newsletters a month.

That’s 6,000 emails.

But 3,000 contacts don’t fit in the 15,000-email tier (2,500 maximum).

So you land in the 20,000-email tier:

  • Starter: €7 + €21 = €28 a month
  • Starter without the Brevo logo: €28 + €9 = €37 a month
  • Standard: €15 + €40 = €55 a month, logo gone and automation included

If you only send newsletters, Starter will do. Want a welcome email series for your whole list too? Go for Standard.

Scenario 2: 15,000 contacts, one email a week

Say an IT distributor with 15,000 contacts emails every week.

That’s 15,000 x 52 / 12 = about 65,000 emails a month. That falls in the 60,000 to 80,000-email tier.

  • Starter: €7 + €55 = €62 a month
  • Starter without the logo: €62 + €9 = €71 a month
  • Standard: €15 + €94 = €109 a month

Here, how often you send does matter.

Email every other week and your volume drops to 30,000 to 40,000 emails.

That saves €21 a month on Starter (€41 instead of €62).

Scenario 3: a team that needs automation and a CRM

Say a software company with 5,000 contacts, two marketers and two salespeople.

It sends two newsletters (10,000 emails) and around 5,000 emails through workflows. That’s 15,000 emails, but 5,000 contacts push you into the 20,000 tier anyway.

ItemPrice per month
Standard, 20,000 emails€55
Second marketing seat€9
Sales Essentials (1 seat)€29
Second sales seat€29
Total€122

Billed yearly, that’s roughly 10% lower.

The sales add-on gives you unlimited deals and pipelines. Not sure you need that CRM? Read our comparison of the best B2B CRM first.

Here are the three scenarios side by side:

WORKED EXAMPLES What does Brevo cost per month? 3,000 contacts Starter, no logo €37 3,000 contacts Standard €55 15,000 weekly Starter, no logo €71 15,000 weekly Standard €109 Team, automation + CRM Standard + Sales Essentials €122 Billed monthly, excluding VAT. Worked out with Brevo’s euro prices of 21 October 2026.

Bottom line: without extra seats, most SME lists stay under €75 a month.

How do you work out your own Brevo price?

You need five numbers. Work them out in this order:

  1. Contacts: how many addresses do you store, today and in a year?
  2. Campaign emails: contacts x newsletters per month
  3. Workflows and transactional emails: welcome emails, nurturing, confirmations
  4. Tier: take the higher of your volume tier and your contact tier
  5. Add-ons: logo, extra seats, Sales Essentials, SMS

Step 4 is the one teams forget most.

For example: 2,000 contacts, three emails a month. That’s 6,000 emails, so the 10,000 tier looks like enough.

But that tier only allows 1,500 contacts. So you need the 15,000 tier: €7 + €14 = €21 on Starter.

Count your transactional emails too

Order confirmations, password emails and form notifications also come off your volume.

A B2B site with a quote form, for example, sends a few hundred a month. That doesn’t sound like much.

But if you’re right on the edge of a tier, they’ll push you up one.

Plan for growth

Lists grow through sources such as trade fairs, webinars and downloads.

Sitting at 2,400 contacts today? You’ll pass 2,500 within a few months. Brevo then moves you into the 20,000-email tier automatically.

Tip: if you expect growth, start in that tier straight away. You’ll choose it on purpose, and the invoice won’t surprise you.

What extra costs and limits should you know about?

Five items catch B2B teams out most often:

  • Brevo logo: removing it on Starter costs €9 a month
  • Automation: Free and Starter only let 2,000 contacts into workflows
  • Seats: Starter has one, Standard up to three (€9 per extra seat)
  • SMS and WhatsApp: separate credits; WhatsApp campaigns only from Professional
  • CRM: free up to 50 open deals, then Sales Essentials (€29)

Automation: the limit you notice too late

On the free plan, up to 2,000 unique contacts can enter your active workflows. That’s in Brevo’s FAQ on the free plan.

Starter carries over the Free features. For deeper workflows, compare the best marketing automation tools.

Only Standard gives you automation for unlimited contacts.

Building lead nurturing email flows for a list of 5,000 contacts? Then Standard is your real starting plan.

SMS, WhatsApp and transactional email

You buy SMS credits separately. The price depends on volume and the recipient’s country.

WhatsApp campaigns come with Professional and Enterprise. Transactional emails (confirmations, password emails) count towards your email volume. More volume also calls for solid email deliverability.

Is Brevo’s free plan enough?

For testing or a very small list, yes. For a real B2B newsletter, usually not.

The free plan gives you 300 emails a day and storage for 100,000 contacts. There’s no time limit.

But three things pinch quickly:

  1. The daily cap: a campaign to 1,200 contacts takes four days, and you have to requeue it every day
  2. The logo: “Sent with Brevo” sits under every email, and you can’t remove it on Free
  3. One user: only the account owner can log in

A/B tests, landing pages and phone support aren’t included either.

Rule of thumb: sending to more than 300 people at once? Take Starter at least.

How does Brevo’s price compare with Mailchimp and other tools?

Brevo charges on volume, most competitors per contact.

That gap grows with your list:

ToolPricing modelEntry price (Oct. 2026)Large list
BrevoEmail volume, with a contact cap per tier€7 a month (Starter)100,000 emails on Standard: €129
MailchimpPer contact, unsubscribed contacts count$13 a month (Essentials, 500 contacts)50,000 contacts on Essentials: $385
MailerLitePer subscriber€11 a month (Comfort, 500 subscribers)Not checked for large lists
ActiveCampaignPer contactPrice on the vendor’s siteScales with your list

The Mailchimp figures come from Mailchimp’s pricing page. Mailchimp bills in dollars; the euro prices it shows are exchange-rate estimates.

According to Mailchimp’s help article on its plans, unsubscribed contacts count towards your contact total too.

Which discounts actually exist?

Brevo mentions two itself:

  • Yearly billing: 10% off Starter, Standard and Professional
  • Non-profits: 20% off monthly and yearly plans, after a request to support

We didn’t check third-party discount codes.

If you go yearly, budget for your list in twelve months.

Moving up a tier mid-year costs extra.

Frequently asked questions

Is Brevo free?

Yes, there’s a free plan with no time limit. You can send 300 emails a day and store up to 100,000 contacts. The Brevo logo stays under your emails, there’s one user and workflows take 2,000 contacts at most (checked October 2026).

How much does Brevo cost per month?

Starter starts at €7 and Standard at €15 a month for 5,000 emails; Professional at €499. Your real price depends on your volume tier. For 3,000 contacts you’re already at €28 a month on Starter, excluding VAT (checked October 2026).

Does Brevo charge per contact?

Not primarily. You pay for your monthly email volume. But the first tiers cap you at 500, 1,500 and 2,500 contacts. From 20,000 emails a month, you can store up to 500,000 contacts.

Do Brevo’s prices include VAT?

No. Brevo says the prices on its pricing page exclude taxes. VAT for your country is added at checkout. Add your VAT number to your account before you pay.

Is Brevo cheaper than Mailchimp?

Usually, with a big list you don’t email often. At 50,000 contacts, Mailchimp Essentials asks $385 a month, while 100,000 emails on Brevo Starter cost €70. With very small lists, the gap is small. Work out your own scenario.

Can I remove the Brevo logo?

Not on the free plan. On Starter it costs €9 a month. On Standard, Professional and Enterprise the logo isn’t shown under your emails.

What’s your next step?

Count your contacts and your emails per month. Then pick the tier, not the starting price.
