This page explains which cookies and similar technologies customerimpact.be uses, what for, for how long, and how to change or withdraw your choice.

1. Who is responsible

2. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage work the same way. In this policy we call them all cookies.
3. Your consent
Without your consent we only place strictly necessary cookies. All other cookies are placed only after you actively choose in the cookie banner: scrolling or browsing on does not count as consent, and nothing is ticked in advance.
You choose per category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works even if you reject everything. We keep your choice for 6 months, then we ask again.

Statistics
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity show us how visitors use the site (which pages, how long, where they drop off), so we can improve it. Google Consent Mode is on: without your consent these tools do not load.

Marketing
Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and TikTok measure which ads work and show you relevant ads. If we later use Google Ads or LinkedIn, they fall under this category and we will update this list.

Functional
Our chat assistant Stewie answers your questions and remembers, during your session, which pages you viewed so its answer fits better. Without this consent the chat does not load.

5. Change or withdraw your choice
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or with the button below. If you withdraw consent, we delete the related cookies on our domain and reload the page so the tools stop.
You can also view and delete cookies in your browser. Third-party cookies (for example from Microsoft) disappear after their duration or when you clear them in your browser.
6. Proof of your consent
To be able to demonstrate your consent (Article 7 GDPR) we record, for every choice: a random choice ID, the time, the banner version, your choice per category, the language and the page. We do not store an IP address or browser details.
