Website maintenance
A website that stays secure, fast and available.
A website is not a project that is done at launch. We keep your site secure and working: updates and backups, security, https and certificates, uptime monitoring and checks on your forms. As an option, we also lock down your email domain with SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

Trusted by growing brands
Sound familiar?
The browser shows 'Not secure' next to our domain name.
Nobody knows when the plugins were last updated.
Our contact form sent nothing for weeks and nobody noticed.
Our site was down and we heard it from a customer.
Someone is sending emails that appear to come from our domain.
How we help
We turn maintenance into a fixed plan with fixed checks: what gets updated, what gets monitored and what we do when something goes wrong. You get a monthly overview, and when there is a problem you are the first to know, not your customer.
Why Customer Impact
Why our approach is different.
Test first, then update
Updates go to a staging environment first or run after a backup and are checked straight away, so an update does not take your site down.
Monitored, not just updated
We monitor your site's availability, the validity of your certificate and whether your forms work. If something fails, we get the alert.
Your email domain too
With SPF, DKIM and DMARC you decide who may send mail on behalf of your domain. That protects against spoofing and helps your emails land in the inbox.
Clear on who does what
Access, backups and accounts stay in your company's name. You get an overview of what happened and what is planned.

Customer Impact builds websites and keeps them healthy afterwards. The same team looks at security, speed, findability and measurement, so an update or plugin never costs you leads or rankings without anyone noticing.
What we stand for:
- Efficiency over volume: the right levers, not more noise
- Every euro measurable, from lead to revenue
- Marketing and sales aligned around the same goals
- Strategy and execution, under one roof

Website maintenance services as a fixed plan
A website starts ageing the day it goes live. Plugins get updates, certificates expire, forms break after a change and security holes are discovered. As long as nobody looks, everything seems fine, until a customer reports that your site does not load or that their request never got an answer.
A maintenance plan sets out who does what and when. What belongs in it as standard, read in website maintenance and what belongs in a website maintenance contract. What happens when nobody does it, see the risks of not maintaining your website.
Security, https and hacks
Https and a valid certificate are the basics; without them the browser shows your visitors a warning. You will find an explanation in SSL certificates. For WordPress sites we follow a fixed security checklist, and if it goes wrong after all, we follow the plan from WordPress hacked: what to do.
Option: SPF, DKIM and DMARC for your email domain
Your domain is also your sender address. Without email authentication anyone can send mail that appears to come from your domain, and your own emails land in spam more easily. In its email sender guidelines, Google asks every sender for at least SPF or DKIM, and anyone sending more than 5,000 messages a day to Gmail for DMARC as well. As an option in the maintenance plan we set those three up step by step: first listing which services send mail on behalf of your domain, then DMARC in monitoring and only after that a strict policy. How that works, read in how to set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
Who is this for?
For companies whose website brings in leads, orders or appointments and that have no web team of their own. If we build your site through website development, the maintenance plan follows on seamlessly. If your measurement stops working after an update, our tracking and conversion measurement service helps.

Related knowledge
The most expensive website problems we see are silent ones: a contact form that sends nothing for weeks, a certificate that expires, a domain anyone can send mail from. Maintenance is not about clicking updates, it is about knowing that everything still works.

In all honesty
Who is this not for?
- You only want cheap hosting: we manage your site, the hosting can stay where it is.
- You do not want to give access to your CMS, hosting or DNS: without access we cannot maintain anything.
- Your site is so outdated that updating is no longer possible: then we look at a new website together.

Frequently asked questions
What do website maintenance services cost? +
We work on request, because the effort varies a lot. What drives the effort: the CMS and the number of plugins, how big the backlog is today, whether there is a webshop, how often updates are needed, which monitoring you want and whether email authentication is part of the job. After a health check you get a proposal with a clear scope.
Why does my browser show 'Not secure'? +
Because the page is not loaded over https, the certificate has expired or is invalid, or the page loads elements over http. We set up a valid certificate, enforce https and fix mixed content.
Do you only work with WordPress? +
No. WordPress is the most common, but we also maintain sites on other CMSs and static sites. The health check shows what your site needs.
What are SPF, DKIM and DMARC? +
Three DNS settings that determine who may send mail on behalf of your domain and how receivers handle a forged email. Google asks every sender for at least SPF or DKIM, and bulk senders for all three. Without these settings, anyone can send emails that appear to come from your domain.
What if my site gets hacked? +
Then we follow a fixed plan: shield the site, clean up or restore from a clean backup, replace passwords and close the cause. With a maintenance plan the backups already exist and we know where to look.
Does my hosting stay where it is? +
Usually, yes. We manage your site on your existing hosting. If that hosting is causing problems, we advise an alternative.
