Which social media marketing agency should you choose in Belgium?

Copy for AI

The best social media marketing agency depends on what you are outsourcing. For day-to-day management, content and community, pick an organic specialist from the list below. If you mainly want B2B leads from LinkedIn and Meta ads, Customer Impact is a fit. We do not do organic management.

Full disclosure: this page was written by Customer Impact. We include ourselves honestly, only for what we really do. There are no paid placements. Last checked: 29 September 2026.

The intern who made your posts has left. Or a LinkedIn boost cost money and did not bring in a single enquiry. Now you are looking for a partner, but every agency promises everything. If you mainly want leads from ads, a social media agency for B2B advertising like ours is the logical choice. For day-to-day management, we help you find the right type of agency below.

Do you need an agency for management or for advertising?

Almost every social media agency sells management and advertising as one package. Yet they require different work and different people. Social media is no longer an experiment in Belgium: according to the FPS Economy, “79.3% of Belgian companies use social media” (2023 figure). So the question is not whether you should be there, but what you want to get out of it.

Want both? Then first build a social media strategy for B2B. In it you define which channel plays which role.

How do you recognise a good social media agency?

You recognise a good, reliable social media agency by six things you can check in advance:

  1. Cases with a figure and a period. “More reach” without a client name and time frame is not proof.
  2. You speak with the people who do the work. Ask who manages your account day to day, and how many clients that person has.
  3. Their own channels are alive. An agency that neglects its own LinkedIn page will later do the same with yours.
  4. Reporting on enquiries. For ads, the report should include a cost per lead, not just impressions.
  5. A test of your tone of voice. Ask for three sample posts or ads for your sector before you sign.
  6. A fair contract. No long notice period, and your ad accounts are in your name.

Ask these five questions in the first meeting:

  • What result will I see after three months, and how do we measure it?
  • Who creates the content and who manages the budget?
  • Which channels would you advise me against, and why?
  • How do you link leads back to our CRM?
  • What happens to our accounts and content if we stop?

Still unsure? Then read the red flags at a marketing agency.

Which social media agencies are there in Belgium, and who suits whom?

The best social media agency in Flanders or Brussels is the one that fits your goal. These social media agencies came up most often in Belgian search results and AI answers in September 2026. The organic specialists come first, Customer Impact is listed separately for B2B advertising.

Besides agencies, there are also freelance social media specialists. They suit a small budget and a clear assignment, such as managing a single channel.

Customer Impact (for B2B advertising only). We do paid social for B2B, with landing pages and measurement all the way into your CRM. For Facilicom we ran an ABM approach around LinkedIn with “+189% more MQLs in 6 months” and “-22% lower monthly ad spend”. We do not do organic management.

What do reviews and experiences say about a social media agency?

Less than you think. When we checked in September 2026, many Belgian agencies had only a handful of reviews on comparison sites. That is too few to choose on.

Two rules help you weigh reviews. Google prohibits reviews where there is a conflict of interest, which “may include current or former employment, a contractual or consultory relationship”. A review from an employee or partner therefore does not count. The FPS Economy is strict as well. Refusing, removing or editing reviews without transparency can “be considered an unfair commercial practice”.

The most reliable experiences are the ones you gather yourself. Ask for two client references from your own sector and ask them these questions:

  • What result did you have after six months, in numbers?
  • Who really did the work, and did that person stay?
  • What went wrong, and how did the agency fix it?

We have Google reviews ourselves, but the same applies to us: ask for references. You can do that via contact.

Specialist or full service agency for social media?

Can one agency do everything? Sometimes, but then usually on a small scale. A full service agency performs best on social when your budget is limited and you want one point of contact. As your ambition grows, specialisation wins.

ChooseIf
An organic specialistyou need to be present every day and community is your biggest job
A social-first creative agencyyou sell to consumers and video is your engine
A full service agencyyou want posts and ads together, on a small budget
A B2B performance teamyou sell to businesses and ads need to lead to enquiries

You can also combine. Let an organic specialist run your channels and a performance team run your ads. Then agree who reports which numbers, so nobody claims the same lead.

When do you choose a B2B team for LinkedIn and Meta ads?

When you need to reach decision-makers and sales needs something to follow up. LinkedIn is the place to target job titles, sectors and company sizes. Meta is cheaper for reach and works well for retargeting, read more in Meta Ads alongside LinkedIn.

What LinkedIn costs depends on your audience. LinkedIn says itself: “Your LinkedIn advertising costs are based on the type of activity you’re paying for and the ad auction.” More in what LinkedIn Ads cost.

This is how we work with LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads:

  • Audience first. We build lists of accounts and job titles that actually buy.
  • A layered funnel. At Suivo, social ads ran across awareness, consideration and decision, in NL and FR.
  • Measurement into your CRM. We report on cost per lead and opportunities.

When we are not the right choice

  • If you are looking for someone to write your posts, schedule them and answer comments, we are not your agency. Pick an organic specialist from the list.
  • If your brand runs on Instagram and TikTok for consumers, with lots of video and influencers, a social-first creative agency is a better fit.
  • If you want one party for posts and ads on a small scale, a full service social agency is simpler.
  • We are a fit if you sell B2B and ads on LinkedIn and Meta need to lead to enquiries that sales follows up.

Frequently asked questions

What does a social media agency cost?

Organic management and ad management are two separate prices, plus your media budget. Our ad management for a single channel starts from 950 euros per month. Packages across Google, Meta and LinkedIn cost 3,750, 4,450 or 5,250 euros per month, media budget separate, with a 3-month minimum and no setup fee.

Does Customer Impact also do organic social media management?

No. We run B2B advertising on social, not day-to-day community management. For posts, content calendars and community, we refer you to an organic specialist.

What does a social media specialist do?

A social media specialist plans and creates content, manages the community and reports on reach. An advertising specialist builds audiences, tests creatives and steers on cost per lead.

Is LinkedIn necessary for B2B?

Usually yes, because it lets you reach decision-makers by job title and sector. Meta also helps for cheaper reach and retargeting of website visitors.
