Google review link generator

Fewer clicks, more reviews. Create a direct link to the review window of your Google Business Profile, with a QR code for your counter, invoices or thank-you email.

  • A direct link that opens the review window right away
  • A QR code to download as PNG or SVG
  • Optional: your rating and review count next to the local top 3, by email

Create your review link

Look up your business in Google's Place ID Finder and copy the code that starts with ChIJ.

How do you compare with the local top 3?

We look up your business on Google Maps and put your rating and review count next to the top 3 for your activity and city. The result lands in your inbox, together with your review link.

Why a direct review link?

Happy customers are willing to write a review, but drop off when they first have to find your business on Google Maps. A direct link opens the window with the stars straight away. Google itself recommends sending customers a link or QR code, and you can also find one in your Business Profile under "Get more reviews".

How does the link work?

Every place on Google Maps has a unique Place ID. The link search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid= followed by that ID opens the review window for exactly that business. Google also returns such a "write a review" link for every place in the Places API. If the link does not work, use the one from your own Business Profile.

Where do you use the QR code?

At the till or reception, on invoices and delivery notes, on a card with each delivery and in your thank-you email after an appointment. Ask every customer the same way: Google prohibits selectively asking happy customers or offering anything in return for a review.

Frequently asked questions about Google reviews

Where do I find my Place ID?

Look up your business in Google's Place ID Finder (link below the field). The ID usually starts with ChIJ. You can also use the "Get more reviews" button in your Business Profile: Google gives you its own short link there.

Does this tool cost anything?

The review link and QR code are free and keep working as long as your Business Profile exists. For the comparison with the local top 3 we ask for your email address, because it queries live Google Maps results.

Can I reward customers for a review?

No. Google prohibits discounts, gifts or other benefits in exchange for a review, and also asking only happy customers. Ask everyone, at a fixed moment in your customer journey.

How many reviews do I need to reach the local top 3?

There is no fixed number. Google looks at relevance, distance and prominence, and reviews count towards prominence. That is why the check compares you with the businesses that rank on top for your activity and city today.

Should I reply to every review?

Replying shows future customers that you listen, especially to critical reviews. Our guide on responding to Google reviews explains how to do it without escalating the conversation.
