Webflow pricing explained: which plan do you need for B2B?

Copy for AI

Webflow pricing is built on two levels: a site plan you pay per published website (the hosting and the CMS), and a workspace plan you pay for the people who design and collaborate in Webflow. For a typical B2B website you therefore pay both together. In this article we break down both plan types, translate them into realistic B2B scenarios and show how to arrive at an honest total cost rather than looking at the lowest entry price.

Webflow simplified its plans in May 2026, folding the old CMS and Business tiers into a single new Premium plan. The prices below apply to annual billing, are in US dollars and exclude VAT. Monthly billing is higher. For your own budget, always work with the current price on Webflow’s own page, because platform prices change.

What does Webflow cost in 2026?

Webflow has three publicly priced site plans: a free Starter, Basic from around 15 dollars per month and Premium from around 25 dollars per month (annual billing). Above these sit business plans such as Team and Enterprise with custom, contract-based pricing.

The free Starter publishes only on a webflow.io subdomain, with a handful of static pages and a limited number of form submissions. Usable for building and testing, not for a real business site. Basic adds a custom domain, far more pages and unlimited form submissions, but includes no CMS. Premium is the first plan with the full Webflow CMS: up to tens of thousands of CMS items and dozens of collections, plus heavier bandwidth, site search and file uploads in forms.

WEBFLOW SITE PLANS From test to B2B content FREE Starter testing, no CMS ~$15/mo Basic own domain, no CMS ~$25/mo Premium full CMS Annual billing, in dollars, excluding VAT
Webflow's three site plans: only Premium includes the CMS that B2B content marketing needs.

Besides site plans, Webflow also sells separate e-commerce plans for online stores. We deliberately leave those out of scope here, because they target online sales rather than the lead generation a B2B site usually revolves around.

What is the difference between site plans and workspace plans?

A site plan pays for the hosting and CMS of one published website, while a workspace plan pays for the working environment in which you and your team build and manage that site. That distinction confuses many people who only look at the hosting price.

The workspace contains what are called seats, the places for the people who have access. Webflow distinguishes seats that can design fully, limited seats for those who only edit or review content, and free seats for reviewers who merely look on. The free Starter workspace often suffices for a single builder, but as soon as you want to work with several colleagues at once or need multiple staging sites, you move to a paid workspace plan.

For this, Webflow applies different workspace tiers, one set for in-house teams and another for freelancers or agencies managing multiple clients. The exact rates differ by type and change regularly, so check them on Webflow’s pricing page before you calculate. The principle stays the same: you pay separately for the site (hosting) and for the people (workspace).

Which site plan do you need for a B2B website?

For most B2B sites with a blog, knowledge base or resources section, Premium is the realistic choice, because it is the first plan with the CMS you need for content marketing. A purely static site of a few pages can run on Basic, but then you give up the structural foundation for growth.

Ask yourself three questions. Do you publish content regularly (blog articles, case studies, job openings, product pages)? Then you need a CMS, and therefore Premium. Do you want content to sit in a reusable structure rather than as loose pages? Same answer. Are you building a small, static brochure site that rarely changes? Then Basic can suffice.

That CMS question matters more than the price, because a site that needs to generate leads lives on regular, findable content. Choose Basic now to save money, and you will run into a migration later as soon as you do want to blog.

What does a workspace cost and do you need one?

Yes, you always need a workspace, because without a workspace you cannot build anything in Webflow. The only question is whether the free Starter workspace suffices or whether you need a paid plan.

For a sole trader or a small organization where one person manages the site, the free workspace often goes a long way. As soon as several people need to be able to design at once, you want tighter permissions and roles, or you run several projects in parallel, you move to a paid workspace plan. The paid tiers add extra seats, more staging sites and more extensive permission management, and scale in price with the number of people.

In practice, this is the item organizations underestimate. They see the site price of around 25 dollars and forget that a workspace comes on top as soon as the team grows. So always start with the question: how many people really need to be able to work in Webflow?

What are the realistic total costs for B2B scenarios?

The realistic monthly cost is the sum of your site plan, your workspace plan and any add-ons, converted to euros and increased by VAT. The standalone entry price says little: it is the stacked costs that determine your budget.

Three common scenarios make it concrete.

The small brochure site. One builder, a handful of pages, no blog. This works on the Basic site plan with the free workspace. The cheapest option, but without a CMS and therefore without smooth content marketing.

The growing B2B site with content. One to a few people, a blog or knowledge base, forms for leads. Here you take the Premium site plan for the CMS, possibly with a paid workspace once several colleagues contribute. This is the most common profile for a website that needs to bring in leads.

The team or agency with multiple sites. Several builders, multiple clients or brands, tight permission management. Here the workspace costs and the number of site plans add up, and a higher workspace tier or a Team plan becomes relevant.

On top of these platform costs, also add the things no platform does for you: design, copywriting, a conversion-focused structure and maintenance. A cheap plan on a poorly built site generates no leads, and that is usually where the real cost of a website lies.

When is Webflow the right choice (and when is it not)?

Webflow is strong when you want a design-driven, fast lead generation site with visual control and without heavy technical maintenance, but it is not automatically the best choice for every B2B company. The right trade-off depends on your team, your content needs and your budget, not on the platform itself.

Webflow fits well when design and load speed matter, when you have a small team that wants to make changes without much code, and when your content is mainly marketing- and lead-focused. It fits less well when you lean on a large ecosystem of specific plugins, when your organization is already deeply embedded in another system, or when very many editors with varying permissions publish daily. In that last case, a site built on WordPress or a headless setup may be a better fit.

We are platform-agnostic: we build in Webflow, WordPress and custom or headless, and we advise case by case. The honest conclusion is therefore not a fixed winner, but: compare the total cost and the fit with your team and your growth plans before you choose. If you do want to switch later, a well-considered approach is needed to keep your rankings during a migration.

The short summary

Webflow bills on two levels: a site plan per published website and a workspace plan for the people who build. A free Starter exists, Basic (from around 15 dollars per month) adds a custom domain without a CMS, and Premium (from around 25 dollars per month) includes the CMS you need for B2B content marketing. Always calculate the total cost of the site plan, workspace, add-ons and VAT, and let your choice of platform depend on your team, content and growth plans.
