E-E-A-T

Google's quality framework: Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trust, decisive for who comes out on top.

By Tanguy De Keyzer · Founder & digital strategist

What is E-E-A-T?

E-E-A-T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trust. It is the quality framework that Google’s raters use to estimate how trustworthy and knowledgeable a page is, especially for topics that touch on money or health.

The four pillars

  • Experience: does the content show real, first-hand experience?
  • Expertise: is the author demonstrably knowledgeable?
  • Authoritativeness: is the site recognised as an authority in its field?
  • Trust: is the information correct, transparent and safe?

Why it is becoming more important

In a web full of AI content, Google uses E-E-A-T to distinguish real expertise from noise. Author profiles, source citations, reviews and quality backlinks build those signals, and they weigh in for both classic SEO and AI answers.

From theory to growth.

We turn E-E-A-T into measurable results for your business.
