Buyer Persona

A semi-fictional profile of your ideal customer, based on real research into behaviour and needs.

By Tanguy De Keyzer · Founder & digital strategist

What is a buyer persona?

A buyer persona is a profile of your ideal customer, based on real data and conversations, not on guesswork. It describes who that person is, what problem they want to solve, what doubts they have and how they make decisions.

Why you need one

If you write for “everyone”, you reach no one. A sharp persona makes your message concrete and recognisable: you know which pain you address, on which channels you reach that person and which objections you need to remove upfront.

What belongs in it

  • Role, context and goals
  • Pain points and frustrations
  • Buying criteria and objections
  • Where they look for information

One good persona steers your content, your ads and your sales, all towards the same, right person.
