How do you calculate your CAC?

Add up all marketing and sales costs for a period and divide them by the number of new customers from that same period. Spend 20,000 euros and win 10 customers and your CAC is 2,000 euros.

CAC on its own says little. Only when you set it against a customer's lifetime value (LTV) do you know whether your growth is profitable.
