The right customers were already searching. Now they find YouPower.
YouPower designs and installs off-grid and battery systems for businesses, farmers and homes. Google was already showing the site to the right buyers, but they clicked through to others. We exposed what was being left on the table, and fixed it.

- First AI lead on day one
Google was already showing YouPower to the right buyers, but hardly anyone clicked through. And AI assistants recommended the competitor.
We exposed where revenue was being left behind and, in eleven days, built a knowledge base that serves exactly those buyers, in three languages.
On launch day the first request came in through Stewie, our AI chatbot on the site.
More good requests, not just more requests
Sound familiar? Your business has been running for years, your customers are happy, but the good requests do not come in by themselves. You pay for leads that are not a fit, and you are not quite sure where things go wrong.
That was exactly YouPower’s situation. For them, a single business project is easily worth as much as ten to fifteen residential installations. Yet most requests came from buyers comparing on price. Founder Tim De Schryver was clear about what he wanted:
“Ik heb liever 4 kwalitatieve dan 20 half en half.”
The site was already being shown to the right people. They just did not click.
Before we wrote a single page, we looked at where revenue was being left behind. Ten findings, and what each one cost YouPower.
Google showed YouPower 56,000 times in three months
The demand was already there. People saw YouPower listed, but the page gave them no reason to click.
The companies YouPower wants were already searching
According to the usual tools, nobody was searching for a business battery. Google’s own data told a different story. Not a single standard report showed them.
One business searcher is worth gold
That is what advertisers pay for a single click on “industrial battery”. Few searchers, but every one of them could be a six-figure project.
French-speaking Belgium was left untapped
Half a market got translated Dutch pages, without its own regulations, grid operators or local projects.
Local searchers clicked on someone else
People looking for an installer in their own town did see YouPower, but chose a competitor with a stronger local presence.
The site was competing with itself
For 146 topics, several pages fought over the same question. The result: none of them won, and the buyer landed on a page that did not answer their question.
Searchers ended up on error pages
Deleted pages were still being shown in Google. Anyone who clicked saw an error message instead of a project.
ChatGPT recommended the competitor
Anyone asking an AI assistant which installer to choose mostly got other names. And often Dutch regulations instead of Belgian ones.
Ad spend went to the wrong people
A large share went to campaigns outside the target market, and half the conversions came from people who already knew YouPower. Not a single business search term produced a request.
Errors on the site itself
One of the most important pages listed a technical value that was almost 50% too high. Exactly the point where a buyer with a big project drops off.
We deliberately skipped the biggest search market
The easy answer was obvious: “home battery” is searched more than 22,000 times a month in Belgium. Target that and you get plenty of traffic. But most of those searchers want a cheap plug-in battery, and that is not YouPower’s customer.
So we chose the buyer with a real project: businesses, farmers and homes that truly want to be independent. Fewer searchers, but every visitor could be a project. Search volume is not a strategy. Your business model decides which question counts.
From lost impressions to a site that sells
Every new page answers one real buyer question, with real YouPower projects as proof, and points the reader to the service that goes with it. French-speaking Belgium got its own story, with its own regulations and its own projects. And everything is built so that Google and AI assistants can read and cite it.
The first request came in on day one
On the day the new knowledge base went live, the first request already came in through Stewie, the AI chatbot from our own toolset. Stewie answers visitor questions using the content of the site itself. That is how a visitor found the answer to their question, and immediately took the next step.

Rankings, requests and AI visibility build up over a few months. We will update this case with the new figures. Next update: November 2026.

What business owners ask us
Does this work in a small niche too? +
Especially there. YouPower sells to a small group of buyers with big projects. Those buyers search rarely, but every search is worth a lot. The key is finding them in your own data, not in a tool’s averages.
Does my website need to be rebuilt? +
No. YouPower kept its existing website, in Tim’s words: “Het is wel de website die ons groot heeft gemaakt.” (“It is the website that made us big.”) We built on what was there and fixed the errors that were scaring buyers away.
How much of my time does it take as a business owner? +
Very little. One good conversation about your customers and your strategy, and the occasional answer to a factual question. We write, check and publish. Nothing goes live that does not match your own information.
When will I see results? +
The first signals arrive within a few weeks, as with YouPower, which got a request on launch day. The full effect on rankings and requests builds up over a few months. That is why we update this case with new figures.
What if AI assistants currently recommend my competitor? +
That is usually because your website does not answer their question clearly enough. AI assistants cite pages that give a short, honest and well-supported answer. You can measure and improve that, just as we did for YouPower.
