The problem

At the end of March 2026 the site of this Belgian B2B services provider got almost 0 clicks a day from Google. For a company that wants to reach new buyers, that was too little.

What we did

We rebuilt the website in Astro: fast, lean and readable for Google and AI agents, with a knowledge base that answers the real questions of buyers.

The result

Core Web Vitals passed, SEO score 100 and agentic browsing 3/3. And in six months from almost 0 to 2,150 clicks and 1 million impressions in Google.

The challenge

Getting found without paying for every click

Sound familiar? Your website has been around for years, but the people who find it already knew your name. New buyers only come in while your ads are running. Stop paying, and it goes quiet.

That is what the site of this B2B services provider looked like at the end of March 2026: almost 0 clicks a day from Google. In June it was still only 101 clicks and 15,511 impressions per 28 days. For a company that wants to reach new buyers, that was too little. The goal was simple: get found by buyers with a question, without an ad budget.

Getting found could no longer depend on an ad budget.

What changed

A site that gives answers, not just a list of services

Clicks from Google (28 days) Before: 101 After: 843
Impressions in Google (28 days) Before: 15,511 After: 421,112
Click-through rate Before: 0.7% After: 0.2% (see below)

On that new site, the growth came from a knowledge base: a large collection of articles that each answer one real buyer question, well connected to each other. The bigger and more coherent that knowledge base became, the more often Google showed the site. A knowledge base builds up within a single quarter, and keeps working without you paying per click.

In all honesty

What these numbers do not show yet

Impressions grew faster than clicks. As a result, the click-through rate dropped from 0.7% to 0.2%, and over the six months the average position is 21.8: many new pages are still on page two or three. More visibility is the first step; more people actually clicking through is the next.

To be updated

We do not yet measure separately how many requests these clicks produce for this channel. We will update this case as soon as those figures are in.

Frequently asked questions

What business owners ask us

Why was this website rebuilt in Astro? +

Because the goal was a site that is fast and lean, and that Google and AI agents can read without effort. Astro delivers clean HTML with little unnecessary code. The result is measurable: Core Web Vitals passed with real users (LCP 1.5 s, CLS 0.1) and an SEO score of 100 in Lighthouse.

What does agentic browsing 3/3 mean? +

Agentic browsing is a new category in Lighthouse that looks at how well AI agents can read and use a website. The rebuilt site scores 3 out of 3. That matters more and more, because buyers increasingly let an AI assistant search and compare for them.

Isn’t this easy in a small market? +

No. The site started at almost 0 clicks a day at the end of March 2026, in a crowded B2B market where many providers compete for the same searches. What worked is not a trick: a fast, clean website that Google and AI agents can read well, and answering buyers’ questions honestly and completely.

Did this growth come without ads? +

Yes. The 2,150 clicks in six months come from Google’s regular search results, without an ad budget. Ads make you visible faster, but they stop the moment you stop paying. A knowledge base keeps working.

How fast will I see results myself? +

For this site it took six months to go from almost 0 to 60 to 80 clicks a day. After twelve weeks there were already 8.3 times as many clicks per 28 days (from 101 to 843). How fast it goes for you depends on your market, your starting point and how many buyer questions your site already answers today.

Does more traffic also mean more customers? +

Not automatically. Traffic without a clear path to a request is worth little. The click-through rate is still low at 0.2% and the average position is 21.8. We do not yet measure separately how many requests the clicks produce; we will add those figures as soon as we have them.
