Facebook Ads Manager

Meta's management platform in which you set up, target, budget and analyze ads on Facebook and Instagram.

By Tanguy De Keyzer · Founder & digital strategist

Facebook Ads Manager is Meta’s central management platform in which you set up, target, budget and track ads for Facebook and Instagram. From a single environment you steer campaigns, choose your audiences and see per ad what they deliver.

How is it structured?

Ads Manager works on three levels. At campaign level you choose your campaign objective, that goal determines what Meta optimizes for. Below that sits the ad set level, where you set your target audience, budget and placements. At the very bottom are the ads themselves, with the images and texts. That structure helps you test in a targeted way which audience and which message perform best, without changing everything at once.

Measuring and adjusting

The power of Ads Manager lies in the numbers. You see per ad set your cost per result, so you can shift budget toward what works and pause weak sets. Linked to a Facebook pixel you measure not only clicks, but also what happens after the click on your site.

What it comes down to

Ads Manager shows many metrics, and that is exactly the pitfall. It is easy to steer on cheap clicks or broad reach, while that is rarely the intent in B2B. Companies use this channel to bring in leads and requests, not to fill a webshop cart. At Customer Impact we therefore look past the surface numbers toward what a campaign truly delivers: qualified contacts and revenue. A low cost per click that brings in no customers is no gain.

From theory to growth.

We turn Facebook Ads Manager into measurable results for your business.
